Check-in instructions

  1. Check-in time is 3:00PM. Early check-in is allowed if the property is cleaned and ready for occupancy. If you would like an early check-in let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
  2. Upon receipt of your security deposit, we will give you a combination for a key lock box and an email with instructions.

Check-out instructions

  1. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.  Please respect this check-out time as we only have a limited time between guests to clean. Excessively late check-out may result in additional charges.  If you would like to request a late check-out, please let us know -  if no one is scheduled to arrive that day, we will try to accommodate you.
  2. Please turn off all electronics and leave all remote controls near the TVs.
  3. Turn off all inside and outside lights.
  4. Close and lock all windows and doors.
  5. Take out all trash to the garbage bin and place bottles, cans and paper products in the recycling bin.
  6. Place all used towels on the bathroom floor.
  7. Load and run the dishwasher.
  8. Remove any opened food items from the refrigerator.
  9. Turn off propane if you used the grill.
  10. Make sure the hot tub cover is closed and jet lever is in the off position.  If you changed the temperature, reset it to 104.
  11. Place the keys inside the RIGHT mail slot next to the front door so the keys are left inside.

Rental Policies

  1. Please treat our house like it is your house – please do not abuse it.   We are cool people and are not going to charge you for accidentally breaking a glass or plate. You are only human, after all.  And on vacation.  However we reserve the right to deduct missing, damaged or broken items from your deposit.  
  2. Any excessive cleaning that is needed beyond our standard cleaning will be deducted from your deposit.  Please shake and rinse off sand prior to entering the house when returning from the beach. There are hoses in the front and side of the house. Please do not track oils and sand on the furniture or bedding.  Please do not enter the hot tub with lotion or sand on you.
  3. Smoking is NOT permitted in the house – if smoking is detected, none of your deposit will be returned. You may smoke outside, but please dispose of your butts in a courteous and safe manner.
  4. Be courteous to the neighbors.  Be mindful of noise levels. There is a noise curfew starting at 10:00pm to 8:00am. No loud late night parties are allowed.
  5. Pets are not allowed under any circumstances unless they are service animals.  If a pet is detected, none of your deposit will be returned.

Parking

The driveway will accommodate 2 vehicles .  Additional parking is available on 6th Ave next to the house.  Please do not park in a manner that obstructs the road or a neighbor’s driveway. Street parking can be difficult on busy summer days due to the Rockhouse's proximity to popular spots.
